   From a grassroots salesperson to the head of a company's oil testing products in China, Wang Yuanbing spent 6 years.
 
 
 
   In 2005, 23-year-old Wang Yuanbing from Huangmei, Hubei, after graduating from the Business Administration of Nankai University School of Business, joined a professional testing equipment company in Shenzhen as a salesperson.
 
 
 
   "I came in thinking that sales would definitely make money." However, in Shenzhen, a city full of talents, even key university graduates are not popular. Wang Yuanbing clearly remembered that the salary he got in the first month was only 1,200 yuan. “I lived on the construction site if I couldn’t pay the rent, and then I shared the rent with someone. By the second half of 2007, my income was pretty good.”

Wang Yuanbing said that unlike selling insurance, testing equipment sales involve railways, electric power, national defense, steel, transportation, construction, quality inspection, universities and other fields.    In 2009, he was promoted to the head of the oil testing products in China, and he bought a small house in Shenzhen, where the land is very expensive.
 
 
 
   No one thought that Wang Yuanbing suddenly resigned and returned to Han in 2010. The reason was, "Later, after talking with customers two or three times, you can basically sign orders, so there is not much challenge. I want to do something and make a breakthrough."

His partner, Mr. Wu, came back early and jointly invested 2 million yuan to register Wuhan Jiayitong Technology Co., Ltd. in Wuhan Donghu High-tech Zone. The initial main business is the agency of foreign precision testing equipment.
 
 
 
   "First do trade, make money, then cooperate with universities, independently research and develop products, and then sell, and snowball." Wang Yuanbing's move is a copy of the old company's business line.
 
 
 
  Of course, he knows that his company is small and started late, so he must make high-quality, even unique products to get a share of the equipment industry.
 
 
 
   After Wang Yuanbing returned to Han in 2010, he quickly obtained equipment agency rights for more than ten foreign companies. He was quite confident in his own sales ability. He originally thought that using the funds, contacts and other resources accumulated during the six years in Shenzhen, he could quickly open the market and earn R&D funds.
 
 
 
   It's a pity that things are counterproductive. It is much more difficult to represent foreign products than domestic products.
 
 
 
"Upstream foreign manufacturers have the right to set prices, the prices are fixed, and there is no bargaining space; downstream customers, there are many possibilities to choose, because there may be multiple domestic agents for the same product, and in order to get orders, everyone will repeatedly lower prices." What made Wang Yuanbing even more discouraged was that some colleagues used abnormal competition methods to squeeze themselves out.
 
 
 
   At the end of the year, when the company was most difficult, Wang Yuanbing had to borrow money from his father-in-law to pay his employees, and the original clear career road map began to become blurred. Wang Yuanbing chose to continue to boil.
 
 
 
   Breakthrough: Independent research and development of nano-level thermal analyzer
 
 
 
   "In the final analysis, it is stuck in the core products without independent research and development, and there is no competitiveness." At the beginning of 2011, Wang Yuanbing and his partners discussed that even if they borrowed money, they would start one or two independent research and development projects.
 
 
 
   But after searching for more than half a year, there was no result. The turning point came in the summer of that year when Wang Yuanbing went to Shenzhen to participate in a seminar on commercial instrumentation. At the meeting, he met Professor Miao Xiangshui. When they first met, the two simply said hello. Coincidentally, the two met again at the airport after the meeting. Wang Yuanbing talked to Professor Miao about his experience and told him that he was looking for a research and development project. He hoped that he would recommend it. Miao Xiangshui immediately became interested when he heard that he happened to have a project on hand and was about to find someone to develop it.
 
 
 
Professor Miao introduced that each material has many characteristics, and thermal characteristics are one of them. If the thermal characteristics are not detected accurately, it will affect the life of the material. For example, if the thermal If the parameters do not match the parameters of other materials, shells and fall off may occur.
 
 
 
At present, there are some equipments on the market that can detect the thermal characteristics of some materials. However, the thermal characteristics of thin-film materials, especially nano-scale (equivalent to one-thousandth of the size of a hair) film, have been tested at home and abroad. There is no effective means yet.
 
 
 
"This is a problem we discovered when we were doing memory research at the Wuhan National Laboratory." Professor Miao said that in order to promote the memory project research, the laboratory organizes teachers and students to tackle key problems. There is no research content that can be referenced internationally, and everything is independent. Groping. In the end, it took more than two years to make a testing device. After applying for two national patents in 2011, they were planning to find a Wuhan company for industrialization.
 
 
 
   The more they talked, the more they speculated. They settled the cooperation matters on the spot in the airport waiting room. Soon after returning to Wuhan, Wang Yuanbing put together millions of funds to buy two patents, and the self-built team began to develop products. As the company's technical consultant, Professor Miao provides R&D guidance for it.
 
 
 
"What fascinates me most is the uniqueness of this product, which means that we are the first company in the world to produce an optical power thermal analyzer." Wang Yuanbing said, "Now the product has entered the final commissioning stage and will be available next month. ."
 
 
 
   Market: VCs are "admiringly" coming
 
 
 
   "The sales target for this year is about 20 units, and next year 100 units." Wang Yuanbing told reporters that the unit price of the equipment is set at 800,000-1 million. If 100 units are sold each year, the highest sales performance will be 100 million yuan.
 
 
 
"This only accounts for one percent of the global tens of billions of markets, and there is still a chance to get a larger share in the future." Professor Miao Xiangshui introduced that the advent of this device has filled the world's gap in the thermal parameter detection technology of nano-scale materials ( Currently, only the thermal parameters of millimeter-level materials can be tested in the world), universities, research institutions, and large companies with R&D capabilities will all be its potential customers.
 
 
 
   In addition, the instrument itself was born for memory research and development. In the future, when the memory is mass-produced globally, this "standard configuration" will usher in greater opportunities.
 
 
 
  In the market, investors always have the most sensitive sense of smell. Since the beginning of this year, Wang Yuanbing has repeatedly promoted the above projects at the financial matchmaking meeting organized by the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone Management Committee.
